Dr. Dan Formosa, Ultimate Designer

Dr. Dan Formosa, Masters and Ph.D in Ergonomics and Biomechanics, helped design IBM’s first personal computer, established Smart Design, a group based on the idea that design is about people, not things in 1981, established the standard for satellite radio in the US, and writes and lectures worldwide about design methods and the physical and emotional aspects of design and innovation. Much of his work focuses on the theme that great design first requires understanding people and complexity. At TEDxDrexelU, Dan will focus on math, music, design, and how it all seems to have gone astray.
